Nicola is a bachelors educated RN with extensive experience in both Canada and the US. She is also a legal nurse, certified professional in healthcare quality and certified patient safety officer. She has experience with event reporting; Core Measures abstraction; medical record review/screening cases for merit and nursing practice standards; Joint Commission and DOH survey readiness; performance improvement initiatives such as reducing mislabeled specimens; fall, pressure injuries, hand off, clinical alarms and more. She is an asset to  IT/Informatics and improving functionality of the EHR. Her attention to detail and tenacity are just a few of her strong traits.
